Don Piper:
Don Piper started off as just an ordinary man. He was primarily active in the
Christian community from 1984 to the present day, but ordinary men may still
encounter extraordinary events. Don Piper had always preached what the Bible
says, even before he began writing, but it is what moved him to become an author
that is interesting.
Don Piper has been in great demand in pulpits across the U.S and all over the
world thanks to his talks about God and Heaven. He has been many things in his life
as well, ranging from a former television executive, to a brief actor, to the far reach
minister you can see today. He has gone through his life with God in his corner, but
in the middle of his life, no job couldve ever prepared him for the divinity of a life
changing car accident.
Don was heading back from a conference when an 18- wheeler collided with
his Ford Escort head on. He was declared dead by four sets of EMTs. Soon after his
was pronounced deceased, a pastor from the same conference arrived and began
praying for the man in the red car. God looked on Don with favor because his soul
was soon sent back to his broken body with nothing, but pain and a miraculous
experience.
Dons divine experience in Heaven grants him a unique look into eternity. His
struggle to recover is just seen as a driving force to preach to others about the

rewards for suffering on Earth. He has been living since the crash with the goal of
helping the bitter become better. He calls it, finding the new normal.
These experiences drove him to write about the crash in his book, 90 Minutes in
Heaven. He has truly had an impact on a multitude of people; he even inspired his
spouse to write an encouraging book about dealing with broken loved ones. Don
Pipers story will undoubtedly go down as one of the most miraculous near death
experiences ever recorded. This truly shows that how something disastrous can
actually be a blessing in disguise.
