1st Grade Field Trip to

Franklin Park Conservatory

What will we be doing? Each first grade class will be attending an
interactive program called Blooms and Butterflies where students
will discover the wonders of metamorphosis and butterfly migration
through a rotation through biomes.
When? Thursday, May 19 we will be departing school at 9:30 and
leaving the conservatory to return to Cypress at 1:30 with normal
morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up. Parents are welcome to take
their child home from the conservatory if they wish.
Transportation? We will be taking a bus, all first grade classes will
be on the same bus, and there is not enough room for parents.
Families, you are welcome to join us for the day and meet us at the
conservatory at 9:30.
What to pack? A sack lunch that can be disposed at the
conservatory
What to wear? Please send your child in comfortable walking shoes
and a Cypress shirt.
How much does it cost? Nothing for your child, the school is
covering the cost of first graders admission and bus fee. If family
members come they will be responsible for paying their own
admission.
Looking forward to a great day,
Mrs. Brown, Mrs. Sink and Mrs. Schaap
