To Whom It May Concern:

Re: Megan Wasylko- Letter of Reference
It is my privilege to provide Megan with a letter of recommendation. In my
role as faculty member in the Child and Youth Care program and faculty
advisor for the Student Representatives, I have been able to observe Megans
skills and commitment, both as a student within the classroom and an active
member on the Student Representative Council 2014-2015.
The Child and Youth Care program is dedicated to provide students with a
foundation that is rooted in psychology, sociology, social work, and education.
The core domains include program development, professionalism;
interpersonal communications; applied human development; interventions;
therapeutic relationships; understanding families and systems and
understanding the self as a practitioner.
Megans involvement with the CYC program, in particular her active role as a
1st year Student Representative, allowed her to showcase her strengths and
dedication within the program, both academically as an advisor on the Program
Advisory Committee, and with our social activities to promote inclusion. She
has been able to apply communication, organizational and time management
skills in a professional manner to ensure the team was able to achieve the
outcomes identified while meeting the needs of the students.
I was quite impressed by Megans engagement and attitude in my courses and
with her peers on Student Reps., and it is for these reasons that I
wholeheartedly recommend her to programs supporting children, youth and
families. I believe that she possesses the determination and intellect to
compliment programs and progress to a successful career. If you have any
further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,

Tanea Fortin, CYW, B.A.CYC, CYC cert.
