Apple Orchard
Play Dough Diorama Kit
Students will use the apple orchard to explore pretend play, role playing, and whatever
they dream up!
Print and laminate the pieces on pages 3-6.
To help the scenery stand up simply roll out a large piece of play dough as the dirt.
I recommend a minimum of 1/4 thick. If you make your own play dough, the amount
shown in the pictures is the following quantities:
2 cups flour
1 cup of salt
1/2 cup cocoa
2 cups boiling water
2 Tbsp. oil
2 Tbsp. cream of tartar
This quantity provided a small area for play. You may want to double the recipe to
allow for more room.
