This project is designed to develop performing arts resources,
networks, and practitioner skills across Clearfield County. It also has the broader objective of investigating the process of volunteer collaboration between artistic groups with extremely varied constituencies of needs. What makes a community healthy? What makes a healthy community? What role can the arts play, in partnership with other sectors, in keeping our communities vibrant, healthy, and equitable over the next decade and beyond? Together we can connect and share best practices and learn the latest trends, develop our base of volunteer support, keep up with latest technologies, make our work relevant to our communities, analyze strategies for volunteer and audience engagement, and determine better ways through conversations with one another. Let us create a gift culture by ensuring mentoring and coaching becomes embedded in our community arts collaboration. What I mean by this is that we establish a cooperative gift culture in place of a more transactional tit-for-tat culture. Collaborate Clearfield Arts aims to open and improve communications, increase the exchange of ideas, and create a deeper sense of community. 1.
