Intermediate/Senior division in your district. I have completed the
Faculty of Education program at the University of Windsor with
Intermediate/Senior qualifications in Science - Biology and Health and
Physical Education. I look forward to working as a teacher in your
School Board as I know that I will make a valuable contribution to your
students educational success and lifelong learning goals.
I believe that my teaching, work experience and volunteering
experience would be an asset to your schools. I am excited at the
prospect of being a part of a school climate that promotes acceptance,
diversity and an inclusive, stimulating learning environment.
As a teacher, I am dedicated to creating a safe place that allows
students to explore, question, create and think. I believe in teaching
personal and social responsibility to help individuals explore and
achieve their goals. I encourage students to critically think and
collaborate while recognizing the uniqueness of each learner and thus,
the importance of addressing individual learning needs and selfdiscovery. I believe that leading a balanced, healthy active lifestyle is
beneficial for the physical and mental wellbeing of all students, which
is supported by my on-going mentoring work with a student struggling
with mental health issues and furthered by my work in a PPL1O course
where I promoted and advocated healthy sexuality awareness and
positive decision making for adolescence.
