ThepurposeoftheInterpersonalCommunicationInventory(ICI)istomeasuregeneral
tendenciesin interpersonalcommunication.Itcanbeusedasacounselingtool,asateaching
device,orasasupplement toaninterview,bymanagement,orforfurtherresearch.Theitemsin
theICIaredesignedtosamplethe dimensionsofselfconcept,listening,clarityofexpression,
difficultiesincopingwithangryfeelings,and
selfdisclosure.
