This month our theme is Amazing Animals. Throughout the month, we will explore the animal kingdom. We will
learn about animals who live in the zoo, in the sea and insects. Also, we will be going on many field trips related to
our theme and participating in a community project!

The children will be going to the


Zoo on Friday, June 10th. The children will participate in an animal
hunt for all the animals weve
learned about during the week. We
will be searching for Lions, Zebras,
Monkeys, and Giraffes.

Parental Volunteers

Please let us know if


you can volunteer for
each trip 3 weeks in
advance.

changes.

The children will be going to the Aquarium on Friday,


June 17th. The children will be able to see many different
sea animals including the Octopus, Sea Horse, Sea Turtle,
and Jelly fish.

The children will be going to the Butterfly Garden on Friday,


July 1st. The children will be able to see many different insects
including the ones weve learned about during the week. Our
focus is the Butterfly Life Cycle.

Community Project

The children will be collecting pet supplies for our local animal shelter. This includes food, blankets, toys, etc. We will be at our local colleges:
UAlbany and SUNY Polytechnic Institute. We will also have donation boxes
set up at the local stores: Walmart, CVS Pharmacy, The Nature Store and
Rite Aid Pharmacy. There will be a collection box in front of the main office
as well.

Please continue to collect:

Tissue boxes

Card board

If you can, we are in need of:

Cloth materials (shirts, pants,


etc.)

Toilet Paper rolls

All Donations are welcomed!


They can be dropped off at the
main office.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS!

Please remember our center is open from 7:00am to 5:00am. All children
should be picked up 10 minutes before the end of their scheduled session
time.

If you are going to be late, please call and inform us ahead of time. There will
be a $15 late fee for every day you are late without notice.

Please make sure that your tuition payments are made on time. We will
charge $5 for everyday it is late.

The weather has changed, please make sure to send you child to school with
an change of extra clothes.
