INTRODUCTION
Agencys Mandate
The Alberto Olarte National High School was created by virtue of Republic Act
No. 6655, otherwise known as free Public Education Act of 1988. The school is under the
administrative and operational control of the DepEd Division Office of the Province of
Davao del Sur. Although it had been in operation since its creation, the keeping of the
complete set of books of accounts had only commenced in January 2011, by which the
Agency Budget Matrix and/or allotments and notices of cash allocation were received
directly from the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) and recorded in the
registries and/or books of accounts.
As an implementing unit of the DepEd, the school is mandated to attain the goal
of basic education enshrined under the August 2001 passed statute, Republic Act No.
9155, known as the Governance of Basic Education Act. This goal is to provide the
school age population and young adults with skills, knowledge and values to become
caring, self reliant, productive and patriotic citizens.
The schools administrative offices and classroom buildings are located in Mabila,
Municipality of Sarangani, Davao del sur.
The school is presently headed by Mr. Edgar O. Obiso, Teacher In-charge and has
a total workforce of 25 consisting of 21 teaching and 4 non teaching personnel broken
down as follows:
