JDRF- Improving life. Curing type 1 diabetes

JDRF is a Foundation aimed to help cure Type 1 Diabetes.

Type 1 diabetes (T1D) is an autoimmune disease in
which a persons pancreas stops producing insulin, a
hormone that enables people to get energy from food
JDRF Works to try and create a cure as well as transform
the ways the disease is treated today.

How To help The Cause

Ride to Cure Diabetes

3-4 day, approximately 100 mile bike ride at

various locations in the US, as close as Burlington
VT.
Fundraising packages starting at 2000 dollars
with 100 dollar registration fee

Various walks all over United States to raise money.

5k Walk October 18th in New Bedford Mass
Raised 80,853.56 surpassing the 50,250 goal. Individuals
fundraised any amount of money, with the highest at
8,547.
