OBJECTIVE

EDUCATION

To become a biologist in fisheries for either the state and/or privately owned hatchery. I want
to help with stocking of ponds, lakes, rivers, etc., as well as doing population estimations. I
also would like to help land owners with their personal ponds so that they may grow their
personal fisheries to their desired level. I will achieve this with population estimations, proper
stocking requirements for their specific site, water quality measurements, as well as making
improvements to the overall quality of the pond.

I have a solid background dealing with fisheries. From early on in my childhood I have been
interested in fisheries and what makes them function. I have attained knowledge through
guiding friends on different management techniques to help increase the productivity within
their ponds as well as earning a degree in fisheries management. I also am Division 1
collegiate athlete. I play baseball for Louisiana State University. I earned Freshman AllAmerica in my freshman season as well as SEC honor roll for our respective conference.

LOUISIANA STATE UNIVERSITY, BATON ROUGE

RENEWABLE NATURAL RESOURCES AND FISHERIES AND AQUACULTURE MANAGEMENT.
CURRENTLY HAVE A 3.2 GPA IN 102 COMPLETED HOURS. I HAVE TAKEN MULTIPLE
BIOLOGICAL SCIENCE COURSES AS WELL AS CHEMISTRY COURSES. I HAVE TAKEN
DEGREE SPECIFIC COURSES THAT DIRECTLY FOLLOW MY DESIRED LINE OF WORK
UPON GRADUATION WITH COURSES SUCH AS ICHTYOLOGY, LIMNOLOGY, AND
AQUACULTURE.

I have been honored in my hometown in the festival as the Grande Marshall, which honors
are only given to greats who have come through my respective parish as well as many wellknown Louisianans. I am known in my community as a role model to young kids as well as
people of my own age. I did a video against bullying and it is currently displayed upon an
anti-bullying website.
