Mission Statement

Psalm 23King James

Version (KJV)
23 The LORD is my
shepherd; I shall not
want.
2 He

maketh me to lie

down in green
pastures: he leadeth
me beside the still
waters.
3 He

I am smart and intuitive

I am going to make something of myself

I will put God first

before anything

I will be remembered

I will make a change

I try not to boast or be proud

I will work hard for

everything I earn

I am strong and independent

For to be free is not merely to cast off

one's chains, but to live in a way that
respects and enhances the freedom
of others

restoreth my soul:

he leadeth me in the
paths of righteousness
for his name's sake.
4 Yea,

though I walk

through the valley of

the shadow of death, I
will fear no evil: for
thou art with me; thy
rod and thy staff they
comfort me.
5 Thou

preparest a

table before me in the

presence of mine
enemies: thou
anointest my head with
oil; my cup runneth
over.
6 Surely

goodness and

mercy shall follow me

all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the
house of the LORD for
ever.

Nelson Mandela

The ultimate measure of a man is not

where he stands in moments of
comfort and convenience, but where
he stands at times of challenge and
controversy.
-

Martin Luther King Jr

Change will not come if we wait for

some other person or some other
time. We are the ones we've been
waiting for. We are the change that
we seek.
-

Barack Obama

Be thankful for what you have; you'll end

up having more. If you concentrate on what
you don't have, you will never, ever have
enough.
-

Oprah Winfrey

I will not be
ashamed of my faith
I will not take my
blessings for granted
I will take care of my
parents like they did
for me
I will give thanks
through all of my
days
I will be the woman
my parents sought
out for me to be
I will teach my kids
the morals my
parents taught me
I will not let racial,
gender, or social
barriers get in the
way of my success
