Taynah Reis at Tarsier Ltd. Named to

Civil Society Selection Committee for Climate Change at United Nations
Tarsier CTIO Chosen to Speaker Selection Committee for Paris Climate Change
Agreement Signing Ceremony to be held April 22 at UNHQ in New York City
New York, New York (April 13, 2016) -- Taynah Reis, the Chief Technology Innovation Officer (CTIO)
at Tarsier Ltd., (OTC PINK: TAER), has been named to the Civil Society Selection Committee for
Climate Change at the United Nations. She is directly involved with the selection of international
speakers chosen to address world leaders attending the signing ceremony for the historic climate
agreement reached in Paris last year. The event will take place at the UN Headquarters in New York City
on April 22 to coincide with Mother Earth Day.
This is a momentous honor that deeply reflects my personal and professional aspirations for making the
world a better, safer place for generations to come, says Reis. It also directly mirrors our goals at
Tarsier, which are dedicated to creating focused solutions for a brighter planet. This global initiative
signifies the importance of working together on every level to develop and achieve sustainable, renewable
and cleaner energy sources that will benefit populations living in even the worlds most rural areas.
At the request of the Executive Office of the Secretary-General, speaker applications for the April 22
event were sought from individuals in developing countries who could share compelling stories of new
innovations or solutions for climate change mitigation or adaptation. The Selection Committee reviewed
more than 100 applications, and created a short-list of candidates for the Executive Office of the
Secretary-General to consider for the opening session speaking role.
As the CTIO of Tarsier, Reis is responsible for developing innovative solutions for managing energy and
Big Data incorporating groundbreaking data platforms, real-time data visualization and 3D
dashboards. She serves as President of Green Cross Brasil, the nonprofit founded to address global
security, poverty and environmental degradation challenges. At the age of 18, she was tapped by the
Brazilian government to develop the Rural Social Network, a national e-learning platform for Brazilian
workers and students.
In 2012, Reis was recognized with two international awards: the MIDEM Hack Day in Cannes, France
and the "AT&T Mobile App Hackathon" in Austin, TX. She also worked with the U.S. State Department
to develop a platform promoting the "Walk A Mile" international initiative.
A member of the B-Team of young global entrepreneurs formed by Sir Richard Branson, Reis regularly
speaks on Big Data and Crowdsourcing at conferences worldwide.

We are thrilled that Taynah has been selected for this honor as her passion for energy conservation, and
environmental issues that impact us all are at the core of everything we do here at Tarsier. We couldnt be
more proud to have her on our team as CTIO, adds Isaac H. Sutton, Tarsiers CEO.
