I: My name is Timothy Recinos.

I am an aspiring full time Old Dominion University student, and

it is my job to do well in every class. I did research on my English Composition 110C grade to
provide a progress report and to create strategies to improve my grades.
M: To find my current grades, I went on blackboard and went to my grades. My grade for
English consists of writing journals, attendance, and an essay.
R: For all of the writing journals I turned in besides one, I got a perfect 100 on. The one writing
journal that I didnt get a 100 on, I received a 60. Ive missed 4 writing journals which count as
0s. I have had 2.5 absences. On the exploratory essay I received a 78. My current unweighted
grade is 62%
D: A common theme I found was not turning in writing journals which lowered my grade because
I was missing assignments. A solution for the future would be to do my writing journals and turn
them in on time. I also need to not acquire any more absences because Ill start losing points
after missing 3 classes. To improve my essay grade I can revise it and get more points, as well
as going to the writing center or other writing improvement resource.
