It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for Ms. Davis has been my student teacher at
Brandenburg Elementary for the last twelve weeks. During this period she has very capably taught phonics, guided
reading for struggling students, word families, oversaw successful Daily 5 sessions, sight words to first grade students.
Ms. Davis is to be commended for her professionalism concern for her students, and quality of instruction. She picks up
new small group mini lessons well. Mackenzie works diligently at assisting all students by the end of her daily time with
my class.
I have found Ms. Davis to be uniquely resourceful and adaptive. She has made an outstanding effort to vary course
material options I have and presented to her and has efficiently used it in different ways. She is receptive to new ideas,
always very thorough and precise.
In addition to the above, student respect is an obvious concern for her in the classroom. She deeply cares about her
students and they look to her for approval and guidance. Her approach to teaching has generated a warm and close
rapport within our class.
As an educator for 4 years and one who is profoundly interested in developing high quality teachers, I strongly endorse
Ms.Davis. She has the intellect, passion, and communicative skills to be an outstanding teacher, and I recommend her
without reservation, knowing, she is eminently worthy of top consideration in the education profession.
