Course Objectives:
1. Understand and Design Passive LC Ladder Filters
2. Understand and Design Low Frequency Active Filters
3. Understand and Design high frequency RF/Microwave Filters and
4. Introduction into the field of signal integrity concepts as applied to PC board designs.
Homework: Homework is due on the date indicated on the course outline. Homeworks that are handed in
late will receive half credit. Homework is due at the beginning of the class period. Homework that is not
received during lecture will be counted as late unless previous arrangements have been made.
Midterms and Quizes: The quizzes and midterms will be based on lecture, text assignments, and the
homework.

PolyLearn: Lecture Notes and other material will be periodically posted on PolyLearn. The homework
solutions will be posted on PolyLearn. Other course material will be available in PolyLearn to help in
examination preparation.
