Dear Mr. Prime Minister,
I am a relative of Breaker Morant he was executed in 1902. I am rediscussing
your discussion, Im disagreeing because he was executed because Kitchener
gave the agreement for Breaker to kill those people and you dont even do
anything to Kitchener. Breaker Morant was executed because of his murder
of 8-12 females, males and children in 1902. I believe that it was wrong but
what also was wrong was that Kitchener got away with not being executed.
Kitchener should have been executed because he gave the approval for
Breaker to kill all those people yet he was found not guilty.
Breaker said in court that he killed all those people under rule 303, but I was
looking up rule 303 and it isnt an actual rule it is a gun that they used back
then.
So to conclude I believe that Breaker Morant shouldnt have been killed at
least he should have gotten a bad punishment or been sent to prison for life
but not killed. Kitchener should have been executed.
Most respectfully,
The Smith family
