As your students Physical Education teacher this year I believe it would
be beneficial for parents, students, and me to be all on the same page so we can have a great year. I would like to give you some information about me and my policies and rules in my class. This will be my first year teaching Physical Education. I am very excited for this great opportunity and have many different ideas I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education from Arizona State University. During my time there, I had the privilege of having two internships and two different student teaching opportunities that very well prepared me. Your students grade will be based on participation, attendance, and behaving appropriately for Physical Education class. Your students classroom teacher will inform you when your student will have my class. It will be expected for your student to be in clothing that allows full participation in my Physical Education class. If you have any questions regarding my grading policy, please feel free to contact me. All students are expected to follow my rules at all times. If rules are broken once, student gets a verbal warning. If rules are broken a second time, student goes to time-out and chooses when they are ready to rejoin the class. If rules are broken a third time, student must sit out for the whole class, which affects their grade. Rules to Follow: 1. Respect others and equipment 2. Listen 3. Follow Directions 4.
