Whether you are going on vacation or simply want to

reduce the daily responsibilities required to maintain your

aquarium, tank automation can help. Automating your
tank can be as simple as turning the lights on-and-of
each day to more complex actions like topping of water
lost from evaporation and even dosing additives. Timers,
system controllers and dosing pumps are invaluable tools
for modern aquarium keepers.
An automated reef aquarium will be created for this
project. Our project will include:
Top of pump for our water level (will be controlled
using a floater attached inside the aquarium to
monitor water level).
Dosing pump to supply elements and nutrients for
the reef aquarium
A timing system for the lightning to recreate a
natural dawn to dusk efect.
Monitored heating and cooling system that will be
controlled thru a temperature controller with PID in
our PLC.
Auto Feeders to supplement regular meals.
Creating a random flow inside the reed aquarium
using simple on/of wavemakers to help with the
nutrient export, gas exchange, and create more
lifelike living conditions for fish and coral.
