Please accept this letter of support for Mr. Jarred Keirns teaching application.
I worked with Mr. Keirn during the 2016 spring semester at the University of
Mount Union, and feel qualified and honored to speak on his behalf.
Mr. Keirn is a dedicated professional, carries a positive attitude, and is a
creative and inspiring individual. In class, Mr. Keirn was often one of the first
to participate and add to a discussion. He is confident in his abilities and
always brings a creative mind to the table. This semester, Mr. Keirn went the
extra mile to lead our family science night at Alliance Early Learning School.
He volunteered to organize the evening and offered help beyond what was
asked. These traits show that Mr. Keirn will be able to take on the pressures
of the field, and become a leader inside and outside of the classroom.
When watching Mr. Keirn work with young children during family night, I also
found it quite clear that he is an engaging and well-spoken teacher. Mr. Keirn
knows how to address students in a developmentally appropriate fashion,
and often attempts to incorporate hands on activities. I think you will find Mr.
Keirn to exhibit an energetic and optimistic style that students will be drawn
to in the classroom.
Mr. Keirn is also an organized and collaborative person that takes charge in a
group. In class, he works well with others and his peers always enjoy having
Jarred as part of the group. I have no doubt that he will be an effective
member of your school team. It is with great pleasure that I offer my
recommendation for Mr. Jarred Keirn.
