When you think of money and happiness,

you probably recall all the things money can
buy p. 160

I can definitely recall the things money can

buy! It can pay for my tuition, a new car, and
a way for me to move out.

the gap between rich and poor is growing

in the wealthiest nations. p. 161

You can definitely see this throughout every

day life. The gap between the rich and the
poor is getting bigger every single day, all
over the United States and other parts of the
world.

The Forbes group wasnt wildly happy, just

a bit more satisfied than regular folks. p.
162

I think that the statistics on this page can

really show how money can make you happy
and satisfied. It also shows how having more
money is not a drastic change but a small
change.

How is it that many rich people are not

extremely happy, and how can it be that
some poor people are happy? p. 167

I find this question to be a good one to think

about. Personally I feel that rich people are
not extremely happy because the wealth gets
to their head and they cannot handle it. Poor
people are happier because they know how
to live without the wealth and they know how
to be happy in their situation, unlike rich
people. Some rich people become greedy
and want more and more and can never be
satisfied or happy with what they already
own.

Being satisfied with your paycheck, just like

being satisfied with your life, is about your
point of view. p. 169

I can agree to this statement. You must be

satisfied with what you have and who you are
and what you do in order to be happy.

Clearly, there are well-off people who feel

they dont have enough money, and there
are people of modest means who feel that
they have enough. p. 171

I definitely agree to this statement but there

are the people who are well off and feel like
they have enough. There are also people who
have average money but want and wish for
more.

The lesson here is that no matter how

I agree completely to this statement. Refer
much money you earn, you can always want back to my last comment.
more, and feel poor along the way. p. 171
Most studies show that materialistic people
are less happy than others. p. 172

Most studies show this probably because it is

true. Materialistic people are way too
wrapped up in things that do not matter and in
things that are failing and wont last forever.
