    Dear parents/guardians:
    I hope you are doing well. My name is Jeffrey Spiva and I am currently
    enrolled in Introduction to Teaching as a Profession at Lord Fairfax
    Community College. A component of the course requires me to complete a
    40 hour practicum at a local high school.
    Over the next few weeks, I will be completing my practicum in Mr. Reeds
    10th grade history classes and 12th grade government classes. The practicum
    is primarily observational, however, I may function as a teachers assistant
    based on Mr. Reeds needs.
