Parents and guardians have had the pleasure of working in your child's classroom this semester. In the classroom, we investigated the different properties of sound with Miss Rhodehamel. As practice for our future instruction, we were able to implement three lesson plans regarding music and properties of sound.

Our names are Rachel Brunner and Jacqueline Schmidt and we have had the pleasure of working in your childs classroom this semester! Throughout the semester, we have been able to work with your children as we prepare for our professional careers as Early Childhood Educators. In the classroom, we investigated the different properties of sound with Miss Rhodehamel. Since the children have shown such a passion for music, it was an investigation the whole class seemed to enjoy. As practice for our future instruction, we were able to implement three lesson plans regarding music and properties of sound. The students participated in an activity recognizing different sounds, created a kitchen band using different items from around the house, and interacted with an ear drum to be able to see vibration of sound. We have thoroughly enjoyed working with your children, both one on one and in a group setting. We were able to work with them at different centers including the sensory table and block area. It has been a pleasure watching your children grow more and more every week, and witnessing them progress individually and in the classroom. Thank you so much for the opportunity to help us grow as preservice teachers and being able to learn so much from working with your child. Sincerely, Rachel Brunner and Jacqueline Schmidt
