Letter to Myself
This semester, I plan on making no less than a B in any of my seven classes. In achieving no
less than a B, I know that I have to reach for straight As. Itll be hard to obtain, but I know that
Im capable of doing it.
The main obstacle that I might face this semester is procrastination. I noticed that when I
have too much time on my hands, I tend to procrastinate more. It makes me feel that I have more
time to start on an assignment than I actually have. In order to eliminate this habit, I plan to
constantly be on the move. The more pressure, the better I can get work done.
Two of my greatest strengths are being competitive and deliberative. Being deliberative and
competitive, it gives me the strengths in being careful, vigilant, and private while competing for
an award. The award in this case is good grades coming from hard work and dedication. I am
highly motivated to do well with little to no anxiety.
After this semester, I know that I will indeed be off of academic probation. My GPA will
increase from a 1.2 from the fall semester, to at LEAST a 3.0 in the spring semester. I honestly
believe that I can do so and I hold myself to this expectation. When I achieve this goal, I will
then continue to take classes over the summer in order to be ahead of my graduation class.
