SCANNER

Scanner is a tool that can be used to copy and or copy pictures or text which is then stored
into the computer memory. From next computer memory, stored in the hard disk or floppy
disk. This scanner functions much like a copy machine, a copy machine difference is the
result can be seen on the paper while a scanner results can be displayed via the monitor in
advance so that we can make improvements or modifications and can then be stored back in
the form of text files or image files. In addition there is also an image scanner to scan
commonly used to detect computer answer sheet. Scanners are used to scan the computer
answer sheet is SCAN IR commonly used for LJK (Computer Answer Sheet) on general tests
and the National Examination. Scan this type consists of so-called Optical sensor lights,
which can identify the type 2B pencil. Scanner on the market is a scanner to copy a picture or
photo and usually also equipped with OCR (Optical Character Recognition) to copy or copy
an object in text form. We have been developed scanner technology with DMR (Digital Mark
Reader), with a work system similar to the scanner to the computer answer sheet correction,
biographical data and forms such as forms for school choice. With DMR answer sheets
should not be answered uses pencil 2 B, but can use other stationery like pens and markers
and can use plain paper.
Now I will to explan about the works of the scanner.
How it Works Scanner?? The image to be scanned is placed on the surface of the scanner
glass then, before the image is scanned, the computer will determine how much stepper
motors that carry the lights will go forward, the distance is determined by the length of the
image and the position of the image on the scanner glass. Next, the lights began to glow and
stepper motor will start rotating to move the lamp until the final position the image.
Furthermore the light emitted by the lamp to be immediately reflected image, then the
resulting reflections will be read by a scanner mirror toward the lens. Next the reflected light
will eventually get to the CCD sensor. CCD sensors will measure the light intensity of the
reflected wavelength dn and turn it into an analog electrical voltage. The analog voltage is
converted into digital values by the converter ADC (Analog to Digital). And the last The
digital signal from the CCD sensor will be sent to the logic board and sent back to the
computer in the form of digital data that show the color at the points of the reflected image.
