Presentation of New Material/Directions: I will instruct

the students how to play. There are two remotes that
are it, and will go around tagging students. Once you get
tagged, you go to the couch and have to sit there until
an active friend tags you. To get back in the game you
have to do 5 push ups or jumping jacks.
Transition: Ask for volunteers to be remotes. Send
them to center, have students spread out around gym.
Activity: 4 cones will be set up in the corner that will be
the couch. If a player is tagged, they will go sit on the
couch. To get back in the game, a healthy player will tag
them and you will have to do 5 jumping jacks to get back
into the game.
Possible Modifications: When I say Get up couch
potato, everyone on the couch will become the new
remote.
Lesson Review: Why is it important to be physically
active? Do you guys feel more awake and alert now?
