Georgia Military College Football Loses to Tyler Junior College 36-7

MILLEDGEVILLE, GEORGIA The Bulldogs matched up with Tyler Junior College trying to carry the
momentum from their previous game vs. NASSAU.
GMC opened the game up with a quick three and out punting the ball to Tyler Junior College. On their
ensuing possession they fumbled which was recovered by GMC.
The very first play on the drive, GMC ran a double pass play for a touchdown to Doran Miller to put
them on the board first 7-0.
Tyler was quick to respond as their following drive the scored a quick touchdown on a 48 yard run to
level the score up 7-7 with 8:07 left in the 1st quarter.
After trading a few scoreless possessions, Tyler finally claimed the lead early in the 2nd quarter on a
touchdown to put the score at 14-7. Their defense held strong holding GMC without a score once again
and the offense took advantage putting up another score to make it 21-7.
GMC had a lot of trouble in the 2nd quarter getting anything going on offense as they were held to
another scoreless possession giving Tyler 2:30 left in the 2nd half to put up some more points, however
GMC intercepted the ball having a chance to make it a one score game before the half.
Tyler stayed aggressive forcing a safety before the half thanks to a couple of sacks making the score 23-7
to end the 2nd quarter.
Starting out the 2nd half the GMC defense stopped Tyler, but the offense stilled struggled and had
another three and out. That turned into another long 48 yard touchdown for Tyler to put the score at
29-7.
GMC continued to fight as they forced an interception to gain possession late in the 3rd, but their offense
just couldnt move the ball and their drive resulted in another punt.
Tyler put the game away with 4:34 left in the 4th quarter scoring one more touchdown to make the final
score 36-7.
