SUMMARY PARAGRAPH:

I chose these two schools because they are two my children attended. It is interesting to note that there is more student funding available in i
city schools, but slighlty less for instructional support. The free lunch support is much higher at Ward. The student population of Ward is ma
Hispanic, where Garehime is mainly white. Neither school has an American Indian or Asian population. Half of Ward students speak Englis
second language, which I assume is Spanish. As a teacher teaching at Ward, knowing Spanish would definitely be beneficial. One thing I no
too, is that Ward had 15 bullying incidents and Garehime none. These reports do make a difference to me personally because they will help m
decide where I believe my teaching skills would be most useful.
