To Whom This May Concern:
I am writing in response to the job posting on the Community Hospice of Texas website.
I would like to be considered for the position of On Call Registered Nurse at your Fort
Worth location. Community Hospice of Texas has provided quality and compassionate
end of life care in the community over the last fifteen years and I would be honored to be
a part of such an organization. I believe my training in nursing at Tarrant County College
along with my four years of work experience as floor nurse at Huguley Hospital qualify
me for the position.
Your job posting indicated you are looking for a nurse to work non office hours who
could provide security through phone communication and who is able to evaluate
appropriateness for hospice care with minimal supervision. As a weekend staff nurse, I
work twelve-hour shifts with minimal supervision, and I assess and reassess patients for
any critical changes that need to be addressed.
My nursing education at Tarrant County College has provided me with skills in patient
assessment, critical thinking, and given me a strong foundation in providing
compassionate nursing care that focuses on all aspects of a patients health.
Community Hospice of Texas leads the standards at providing quality and compassionate
end of life care. I would love to be a part of such wonderful team and welcome the
opportunity to interview with you. I can be contacted by phone at (817) 312-8500 or via
email at j.merna123@gmail.com. Thank you for your consideration and look forward to
meeting with you.

Sincerely,

Marina Jimenez
