LEARNINGS:
r duty starts at 8 am and we tour the Governor Faustino N. Dy Memorial
Hospital first by the guide of our clinical i
Our first day at Ester R. Garcia Medical Center we attained the orientation and we’ve known that the
hospital was established since 2004 as dispensary in Cayan City, Isabela. Founded by Dr. Ester R. Garcia.
Conducting orientation in Ester l was very great. There are many learnings that we've learned. We
learned how to deal with patient with communicable diseases, what are the routine there. We've also
learned the importance of quality nursing care. We should be alert. I also learned the importance of
cooperation with our groupmates.

In day 2 of our orientation at IUDMC I have learned that nurses exposed to this kind of institution was
not that very easy for they are in contact each day with patients who are in incubation period of
development of communicable diseases and were closely associated with people who are carriers of
disease-producing-microorganisms. For this they have to protect themselves and safeguard other
patients by observing principles of aseptic technique in practically all nursing procedures.
This learning experience is something that I would carry wherever God will send me to apply my chosen
career in the future.

In 3 day During our orientation at SIMC, it molds me to be a better nursing students, new settings, new
learnings, and new experiences.
In doing our responsibility as a student nurses, i found out to set aside nervousness to be able to
perform our task accurately. I also found out how important the group cooperation in all our activity
that we have done.
All those experiences and learnings during our affiliation at San Lazaro will contribute to us especially to
be a more competitive nurse someday.

In 4 day at CMSH I gained knowledge about many different nursing intervention when it comes to
caring a patient. But anyway, I wanted to give my highest thanks to the one who gave me a lot of ideas
and shared informations about manydifferent knowledge. Thanks to Sir Yves B. Reyes for giving
opportunity to learn. Through your lectures and informations I will always remember that in order to
become an effective nurse. I learned how to respect others. I've known also what are the attitudes of my
roommates.

During our return demonstration, we all felt like we needed to look to our instructor for guidance in
what we should do. The reason for this was because we all lacked the confidence to feel like we
knew what we were doing. If I could do it again, I would have liked to have been more
knowledgeable about the scenario so that I could be more confident. It is obvious that all of our
instructors have a common goal, which is for all of us to learn as much as we possibly can. I
honestly think that by allowing as many opportunities as possible to see and experience as much as
possible will help us all learn from our clinical experiences. I found all of our simulations very
interesting today. I gained an enormous amount of information which I am sure will enhance my
skill performance. Our instructor was very helpful in explaining fetal monitoring and how to
interpret the strips.

The success of one's duty is not based on the condition of the clients but rather on bow we perceive
ourselves as a student ourse and how we carry out our responsibilities for the restoration of our client's
optimum bealth. For this experience, I can say that this was the time wherein I was able to interact more
with the clients and with the family. I was really happy because just being there, caring for my clients
and witnessing their progress I know somehow I contributed to their development. All I can say with my
duty is I'm happy with the outcome and I really enjoyed it. With the days to come, I'm looking forward
for more successful and fruitful duty which could bring much happiness to me and mostly to my client
