Please consider my application and resume for the upcoming licensed position, Special Programs/Projects
Placement Processor. As a current employee of your Division and student at Nevada State College in my
junior year, providing quality service to families and student with disabilities is my priority. Mindy Painter,
Coordinator IV in your Division has provided guidance in formally requesting the licensed position in your
department. Continuing to form part of Student Services as a processor will allow me to provide more in depth,
individualized support, to students and families within our district.
My goal is to provide appropriate skill maintenance services to students in special education programming,
support to families, guidance for educators and staff working in the special education in an effective, efficient
manner with a high level of customer satisfaction.
Please see some the skills acquired throughout my years of services in your division below:

Knowledge of all self-contained programming provided within the Clark County School District
Knowledge of teacher/student ratios within self-contained classroom
Knowledge of all acronyms pertaining to special education programming
Ability to complete a Transportation Action Request
Ability to read and comprehend services indicated in an Individualized Education Program
Ability to make correct programming placements for students entering the self-contained setting
Ability to communicate tactfully with students, parents, staff , and administration
Use of Infinite Campus in full capacity
Use of Encore in full capacity
