REMINDER!!!

Dear Kindergarten-Third Grade Parents,

The Holidays Around the World Fine Arts Program will be on Thursday, December 17th, 2015 at 5:30 P.M.!! The
program will be held at St. Johns Banquet Center: 22001 Northwestern Hwy, Southfield, MI 48075. This performance
is a part of students grade and those who do not participate in the program will receive an alternate assignment due by
January 4th, 2016. Parents of students not involved in the program or removed due to not meeting behavior or performance
expectations will receive a letter informing them of their childs assignment.
Performance Day, Thursday, December 17th:
We will bus students who have turned in permission slips and are still on the performance list to St. Johns at 8:30 A.M. the
morning of December 17th and return them to PACE prior to lunch time. At the end of the school day (4:00 P.M.), students
who have returned permission slips will meet in the cafeteria, be fed a light supper and then will be bussed back to St. Johns
for the performance. Students will NOT be bussed back to PACE following the performance, so please plan accordingly.
Performance attire: Students may come to school dressed for the performance
K-2 Sunday Best Holiday dresses, shirts, ties- NO JEANS, GYM SHOES or SNOW BOOTS!
3rd Grade: Gym shoes, uniform bottoms and Holiday colored tops, red, green, white
(dressy tops, no t-shirts, jeans or boots!)

UPDATE:
For the final song Light the Candles All Around the World, we would like to have students holding battery
operated candles. If you could purchase one (or send one from home) with your childs name on it (you can use
masking tape) by WEDNESDAY DECMBER 16TH we would greatly appreciate it. Please include batteries with
this candle as we will not have extras.
Tickets are now on sale by the office for $10 (adults) and $5 (students)-Performers do not need tickets to perform.
We will be selling tickets until Wednesday, December 16th before and after school and at the door the evening of the
program as long as we dont sell out at the school.
