Course Objectives: This course is designed to equip students with knowledge of strategic and
operational aspects of testing and quality control in textile industry. The emphasis is on standard and
reproducible tests in order to specify and control prescribed product specification and properties along
with clear understanding of different analytical and quality management techniques.

Regain and moisture content: regain, factors affecting the regain, method
of measuring regain.
Correct invoice weight. Control of testing room atmosphere.
