Your Top Strength
Honesty, authenticity, and genuineness You are an honest person, not only by speaking the truth but by living
your life in a genuine and authentic way. You are down to earth and
without pretense; you are a "real" person.

Your Second Strength

Capacity to love and be loved You value close relations with others, in particular those in which
sharing and caring are reciprocated. The people to whom you feel
most close are the same people who feel most close to you.

Strength #3

Kindness and generosity You are kind and generous to others, and you are never too busy to
do a favor. You enjoy doing good deeds for others, even if you do not
know them well.

Strength #4

Modesty and humility You do not seek the spotlight, preferring to let your accomplishments
speak for themselves. You do not regard yourself as special, and
others recognize and value your modesty.

Strength #5

Humor and playfulness You like to laugh and tease. Bringing smiles to other people is
important to you. You try to see the light side of all situations.

I agree with all of my strengths listed as results from my VIA test.

I was not really surprised by my test results because I have been told
that I show these traits and I see them in myself. I try to live up to
these traits every day, so its no surprise that they shine through. I
believe that these traits are some of the best to have in life, but there
are some downsides to them too. For instance, people can take the
strength of honesty and be honest but not cordial or nice about it.
People can be kind and generous, but nave. Humor and playfulness is
good, but people also need a good balance of seriousness. All of these
traits are good, but there needs to be a balance that comes along with
them. Everyday I tell people the truth, gently; because Id rather be
honest and let people know the truth rather than lie to make them feel
better in the short run. I love and support my family and my boyfriend
and I know that they love and support me, they are a very important
part of my life and I am glad I always have them. In turn I am also
generous and fair to everyone, no matter their background or situation.
I find that being nice to people gets you far in life, in fact it has gotten
me out of many bad situations and into many good situations.
Growing up in a Christian household, I was raised to be humble and
modest not only about my dress but also about myself as a person. I
do not brag about my accomplishments. I feel as if that comes of
bragging and snobby, although there is nothing wrong about being
proud of ones accomplishments. I do love to laugh and make other
people laugh. Laughter is the greatest form of happiness, and I love to
make other people happy. There is not better feeling to make others
happy.
