(8) Procedures: (a) Go over figurative language and poetry (b) View PowerPoint on Acrostic Poetry Have students take notes (e) Show examples of different types (d) Break student into groups and make them work independently (f) when complete have students share work with peers (9) Assessment: Did each student correctly complete the assignment and are they able to interpret their own appropriately. (10) Accommodations: Closed notes.
