It is with great excitement that I write this letter of recommendation for Alyssa Jackson. I
worked with Alyssa as her professor at Chaminade University and I can confidently say that she
is an excellent student. In addition to working with her as a student, I have had the pleasure of
watching her teach as a student teacher at the school I am currently the Head of School at.
As a student, Alyssa turned in all of her assignments on time. The quality of her work
was exemplary. She utilized every moment efficiently and effectively in class. Alyssa also
expresses herself well in writing. She was able to utilize the content she learned at a high
cognitive level by evaluating and synthesizing ideas into organized and coherent written
statements.
As a student teacher at Saint Louis School, Alyssa has taught her students well with
strong reviews from her mentor teacher. In addition, she has attended several meetings at school
on a voluntary basis with the desire to simply learn more and improve her skills as a teacher. Her
ability to collaborate with others and the responsibility she has shown makes it evident to me that
she will certainly excel as an educator.
