Acoustic Intravalley Scattering at Low Temperatures

When the lattice temperature is very low (3.22) does not hold anymore and the
dependence on
the acoustic phonon energy and momentum transfer have to be considered. Using a
model in
which the phonon dispersion has to be evaluated during simulation will demand
long
calculation times. Therefore it is useful to derive a temperature-dependent but
otherwise
constant mean phonon energy and formulate the acoustic intraband scattering
