PowerPoint Keyboard Shortcuts

Can you go back, please?

Previous Press Left Arrow (or Up Arrow)

Lets move on

Next Press Right Arrow (or Down Arrow)

Go to a specific slide by typing in the


slidumber, then press Enter

Example: To go to slide 28, type 2, then 8, then


Enter

Go back to the first slide in the


presentation

Press <1 + Enter>

(Vista only) Go back to the first slide in a


presentation

Press Right and Left mouse buttons for two seconds


(2 Buttons + 2 Seconds)

(Vista only) Open an All Slides dialog


box to see the titles of all the slides Scroll Press <Ctrl + S>
through the list and choose the slide you
want to go to
For a Black blank slide

Press B (or b); press B or Esc to return

For a White blank slide

Press W (or w); press W or Esc to return

To turn on the pen feature

Press <Ctrl + P> (Mac: <Cmd + P>)

To erase the drawings, turn off the pen


feature, and retrieve the arrow

Press E

To change the pen to an eraser

Press <Ctrl + E> (In Vista, press E)

To retain the drawings, turn off the pen


feature, and retrieve the arrow

Press <Ctrl +A> (Mac: Cmd + A)

To retain the drawings, leave the pen


Press an advance arrow (right or up) or a return
feature on, and advance or back up in the
arrow (left or down)
presentation
Begin the slideshow on the first slide

Press F5 (2008: Crtl + Shift + S)

Begin the slideshow on the current slide

Press <Shift + F5> (2008: Crtl + Shift + B)

Go to the final slide in the slideshow

Press 9, 9, 9 Press Enter

End a slide show

Press ESC

Bring up the shortcut menu

Press F1, or right-click (Mac: <Ctrl + click>)
