1) Offer some thoughts about what you see as a relationship between behavioral,
nativist, and functional approaches to studying first language acquisition and your
own experiences in learning a second language.
Some ideas about what is seen as a relationship between behavioral approaches, nativist
and functional for the study of the acquisition of the first language is social interaction.
From birth we are exposed to language within the environment. Then we expose what
educational settings in the same envelop the communication and interaction. In this way we
acquire learning.
My experience in the acquisition of language as a second language in school was based
games and short works. We also gave many readings and then give us some questions. In
other significant experiences outside the educational context, I learned the English
language-based social communication. And finally I acquired a bit of visual and aurally
with English television.
