EDUCATION
Majoring in Art with a concentration in Art Education, participating in the pre-credential
program. Pursuing a single-subject teaching credential in math and art.
Took a variety of studio art classes in a variety of mediums: Beginning Electronic Art,
drawing, and painting; as well as several art history courses
I was invited by the Sac State Golden Key Honor Society to join their exclusive club
based on the fact that I was in the top 15% of my class.
TECHNICAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Equipped with an understanding for current common core and VAPA standards
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
Carried out the orders and needs of customers and work at shows and functions for
Tonys Fine Foods as a temp. This included providing customers with supplies and
answers.
Pulling from multiple sources and contributing personal knowledge to form a joint lesson
plan with fellow pre-teaching credential candidates.
AFFILIATIONS
Contributed and traveled to the mission field with Las Tres Palmas for the past 6
summers in Ensenada, Mexico, to build an entire house for a family in a week. Total of 6
houses as of last summer.
- Worked alongside and with high school students to help put on a vacation bible
school for kids ranging K-12 in the same week of each summer.
Between August 2011 and June 2012, acted as a mentor in welcoming incoming
freshman for Liberty Ranch High School
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Made it on Deans Honor List for academic excellence five times in a row.
Received Presidents Award for Educational Excellence in Spring 2013 of my Senior
year of High School.
Received one of two of Liberty Ranch High Schools Visual and Performing Arts
Department Award in Senior year, Spring 2013
Helped put together, and with, fundraisers and school functions throughout high school,
and after, through the Parent Teacher Student Association as treasurer and class
representative
