After the race, enjoy entertainment and free food and desserts from various restaurants such as The Olive Garden, Red Lobster and Ruby Tuesday. Games and bounces houses will be available for children while the adults can sit back and relax listening to our live DJ and sipping on an nice, ice-cold beer that will be provided. An auction will be conducted during the park party to raise money for the Maryland Pediatric Hospital. The race encourages friends and families to get healthy and to raise awareness and philanthropic support for the Maryland Pediatric Hospital for children who have life-threatening condition. Auction items include a $500 gift certificate from Target and free passes to Salisbury Health and Fitness Center. Events like this really help get the community interacting and exercising for a good cause, said Nathan Geary, the coordinator of the run for Eastern Shore Running Club.
