3.Themaintestsweneedtoconductareonlytoensuresafety.Withoutthefelt,our
handwarmerheatsuptoadangeroustemperature,whichwemustcontain.Thefelt
usuallydoesthisjob,butwemustensureitwassafeeachandeverytime.Thesetests
includetakingdirecttemperatures,testingdifferentwaterbeadtolithiumchloride,and
concludingourchoiceofplasticbags.
6.Ourhandwarmerconsistsoflithiumchlorideandabagofwaterbeadsallwithina
sealedbag,coveredbyfelt.Tostartit,youpopthebagcontainingthewaterbeads,
exposingittothelithiumchloride.Then,thesetworeactcreatingtheheatoverashort
periodoftime.Itheatsuptoaveryhottemperature,whichiscontainedbythefeltcase
resultinginaperfecttemperature.
