UWRT 1102, Advocacy Literacy Project Reflection

Name: Reggie Cobbins

Please provide a short response to each following question or statement.
1. How did you decide to divide up the contents of your project, the composition verses the visual? Why so? How is your
division important to me for consideration in grading/evaluating your project?
I decided to make the visual portion portray the composition piece by adding a personal effect (the
pictures). The composition piece went into detail, hitting every point that was mentioned in the given
rubric.
2. What do you want me to consider as I review your medium choice? If nothing else, tell me about your risk taking.
You could consider that my approach with the visual piece is a more personal approach to the project
considering that I have worked alongside my advocate. There was not much research with this project. My
project evolved around personal experiences and observations.
3. Influence me further as to what to focus most upon during grading: what do you want weighed most in your favor as I
grade your project? Why?
If feasible I would like for you to focus on the personal aspect of the project. As far as what I would want
weighed most in my favor, I am not entirely sure.
4. What would you like to change or to work on more, if you had the chance? Why so?
If I had the chance to work on something more it would be the media portion. I would want to due
something different rather then a traditional powerpoint. I was going to create something using the iMovie
feature on my laptop, but I did not have time to figure out how to use it.
5. Based upon what you have been assigned, verses what you have completed, what grade does your work justify?
Why?
Well, to be honest, I believe that my work has satisfied the requirements. However, I feel as if I could have
gone beyond the requirements and been more creative.
