Thank you for being a loyal Hydro-Whirl customer for over five years and for making the right
choice in purchasing one of our durable washing machines. Here at Hydro-Whirl, we pride
ourselves on receiving excellent customer service ratings on surveys conducted by J.D. Power
and Associates. Our Peace of Mind repair service is loved by our customers, as it covers the
cost of approved mechanical repairs for only $10.99 a month and has a dedicated team of
technicians who will perform the maintenance at your home.

Your in-home service inspection of your non-operating machine revealed to our Hydro-Whirl
technician that there were specific problems with your machine:

The machines motor was damaged
o A burst water supply hose at the rear faucet caused flooding, which short-
circuited the motor
o The machine was not plugged into an adequate electrical service circuit
The required circuit is a heavy duty 20amp circuit, and your machine was
plugged into a 15amp circuit, which caused excessive strain and
overheating to the motor
The tub basket supports were cracked
o There was evidence of washing heavy floor rugs in the machine, which
overloaded the tubs basket supports on a spin cycle

Todays washing machines require correct electrical installation procedures and proper

requested repairs do not cover these damaged parts because of the following reasons:
We have no record that the machine was installed by a qualified Hydro-Whirl service

instructed you the machine needed an adequate electrical circuit to be required for
installation. Our companys service plan only covers the proper customer usage of the
machine, as directed in the instruction manual. The service plan does not cover water damage
from burst hookup hoses installed by the customer, nor damage-

caused from washing heavy rugs, which are beyond the machines safe operating capacity. In
addition,
the owner of the machine is typically responsible for checking the water supply hoses

periodically. Finally, apart from the monthly service plan, your manufacturers warranty has
expired as it is only available for one year.
Due to the reasons listed in the paragraph above, our company cannot replace the machine

free of charge, as you requested

However, there are a few alternatives you can choose from to solve your machine problems
quickly and efficiently:
1. You have the option to have your machine repaired at current market costs for labor
and parts, which is estimated based on the technicians original in home inspection
invoice.
2. Hydro-Whirl will sell you a refurbished washing machine at a discounted price of $250
plus delivery and certified technical installation labor fees.
3. You can purchase a new machine at full retail cost and your Peace of Mind warranty
service plan will immediately transfer to the new machine, without extra charge.

are sending you a coupon for a 15% discount on a new washing machine. Our Hydro-King
washing machine is our top-of-the-line washing machine with upgraded features such as a
larger tub, which allows more clothing to be washed so less time is spent doing laundry, and an
