Significance:

Our group wants to show, through the concepts we learned in Math 12, that the median-median
line, the line of regression and the least squares line have a significance to our everyday life, as
displayed by the weekly sales of the Big Dipper gathered by our group.
Our group also wants to aid the business by giving them a statistical report of their sales. This
will visually represent the performance of their sales during the week. This information will help
them in further improving their products and services in the future.
Conclusion:
We have proved through our results that the sales of for the Chicken Solo and the
Chicken Combo have increased significantly throughout the week. The median-median line and
the least squares line that were constructed from the gathered data showed that the sales have
increased.
There is a very strong positive correlation between x, which is the number of days since
April 18, 2016 and y, which is the total number of units sold per day, which means occurance of
the two factors are greatly related. The positve correlation between the variables states that when
the value of x increase, so does its corresponding y value. On the other hand, the strong
correlation suggests that the x and y values are highly dependent of eachother.
