My objective for joining IIML is to excel in the field of Marketing & Management.

I've been associated

with IT Marketing Automation for long & have facilitated my clients'/employer's efforts to maintain
better CRM- in turn, maximizing their ROI. While assisting my customers, business stakeholders &
colleagues with automating & analyzing the effectiveness of their marketing strategies, I've developed
a keen interest in that field. I would now like to be a front-runner & better manage the marketing
initiatives with the guidance of IIML's impeccable faculty & my experiences thus far. I've managed
teams but not as a designated manager, but aspire to do so. An MBA is a very desirous step to take my
career forward in that direction.
My short term goals would be concentrated on being successful at whatever I do post my degree at
IIML. It could be managing a team, heading a division or satisfying my entrepreneurial instincts &
setting up my own business.
However, the long term goal is to attain happiness & be contented. Eventually, I aim at being glad with
whatever I achieve in life- big, small or none. I should be able to accept my shortcomings- there are
bound to be some, as no one is perfect. I should mature to realize that & capitalize on the positives,
while building up on the possibilities for improvisation.

Am a diligent person- pursue my dreams with all honesty. Love catching up on new concepts- am a
quick learner & also a team player. Believe in admitting my flaws upfront & working on my
shortcomings- always candid. Try my best to sort out issues- help others & myself...
I belong to an academically oriented family. My father was designated as a professor & HOD in
Jadavpur University, Kolkata. My mother worked as the head of the institution at Balika Siksha Sadan,
Kolkata.
I've grown up to love academics. As a student, I've always been very focused on my assignments. The
idea of being a student has always thrilled me.
Moreover, the exposure I got during my work-life has also inspired my keen interest in the field of
Marketing.
Hence, I'm confident about doing a good job at IIML & thereafter.
