Our Field Trip

to
Adkins Arboretum
and
Tuckahoe State Park

First, we rode on a bus. Then we got off the bus

and met Ms. Leslie. Then walked past a big statue of a
bird that used to be in someones kitchen. Then we
walked past the goats.
Then we walked into the Funshine Garden where
we sat on the logs in a circle and learned about
sunflowers and plants. Then Rilynn had to walk around
to look for the sunflower garden.
Then we dug up weeds and pulled them out. Then
we planted sunflower seeds around the edge of the
garden but we left space for a door. Then we took a
class picture.
Next we walked very, very fast back toward the
classroom and met Ms. Beth. Then we walked thru the
field past the thorns. Then we went into the classroom
where we learned about sunflowers. We sang a song
about sunflowers and then we made a sunflower
project.
Then we got back on the bus and rode to Tuckahoe
State Park. We ate lunch under the roof and then we
played on the playground made of tires.

I liked when I was swinging on the tire

ropes.
I also liked when I was in the tire
house.
I also liked when we were at Adkins
Arboretum.
