Energy production offers numerous applications,

The Larox valve has been specially designed for
applications where abrasive and aggressive product
flow complicates the functionality of conventional
metal and ceramic valves. In power plants Larox

Various applications
Larox can offer valves that operate reliably and

in energy production. The Larox valve is ideal
choice for limestone, lime, gypsum, coal, flue gas
desulfurization (FGD), fly ash handling and bottom
ash slurry lines just to mention a few.

Easy maintenance
The Larox sleeve has proven to provide excellent
wear resistance and long sleeve lifetime in great
many power applications. The valve sleeve is also
the only wearing part, which requires maintenance.
For wet processes, Larox offers an early detection
sleeve, which sends an indication of the sleeve
wearing to maintenance personnel. The sleeve
change can be scheduled and the worn sleeve
replaced before any unexpected sleeve rupture
occurs.

The construction of the Larox valve ensures that

the valve closes tightly even if coarse particles
remain between the closing device, which makes
the Larox valve excellent for FGD bottom ash and
fly ash applications.
