Businessmen’s Code of Ethics

I pledge that my career in business will be


faithfully dedicated to:
a. Applying superior standards of management.

b. Observing fair practices


in all capacities in
which I am called upon
to serve whether these
are owner, manager,
employer, creditor,
debtor, employee,
supplier, customer,
competitor or citizen of
my local community.

c. Prizing ahead of my personal gain a reputation for


delivering honest values, for keeping all of my
commitments and for meeting all of my own
obligations punctually.

d. Recognizing legitimate competition as a friendly and


constructive challenge to my own talents for
supplying quality goods and services, for managing
well and for achieving positive public acceptance of
my products.

e. Devoting my best efforts toward meeting the


humanitarian and social obligations of business by
upholding those principles of harmonious and
mutually equitable relationships between labor and
management, which are in keeping with the public
welfare.
f. Expressing my appreciation for the opportunities
afforded under the flag of the Philippines by
unwavering loyalty to national ideals, conscientious
observance of law and national policy and the faithful
discharge of tax and other obligations necessary to
the common good.
