Lung Experiment
Objective
Find the difference between the resting breathing rate and active breathing
rate. Observe what your lungs do. Measure the capacity of your lung.
Hypothesis
The difference between the resting and active breathing rate is around 5
breaths. My lung capacity is around 4000 cm3.

Method
1. Close your eyes and record your breathing rate while resting for 30
seconds.
2. Do the process again for three times and calculate the average resting
breathing rate.
3. Run in place or in the hallway for a minute and record your breathing
rate four times consecutively after that. Each time 30 seconds.
4. Calculate the average of the active breathing rate.
5. Calculate the difference between the resting breathing rate and the
active breathing rate.
6. Put your hand on your chest and breathe in and out while observing.
7. Put your hand on your chest again and this time dont allow your chest
to move. Observe any changes
8. Breathe into a balloon and measure its capacity (length*width*height)..
